globally, dear comrades,
here we are, after two years of dreams, hope, sacrifice, passion, commitment and disappointment at last we arrived at this important event that marks the beginning of a new history for us to our land and to all of Italy.
The experiences of each, now converge in the idea of \u200b\u200ba unified new Left capable of steering in different words, the result of decades of love stories in which politics has brought water to his mill, leaving millions of men to walk on land scorched by the sun of the opportunism of misery.
Too much wasted breath of stale air of the assemblies of the old parties filled with personalities, unnecessary extravagance of those who wanted and still want a comfortable chair to rest your butt today everything has to be blown away by the wind that irrepressible ear of the people the good policy, one that really takes care of the children of this rule by Italy, that in his substitute the symbols for "with" with ", stressing that each of us is part of a project unit.
Our province has distinguished itself in recent years for its ability many politicians to change the skin, taking positions in chameleon function that pulls the air, drawing the unscrupulous confidence of the people, thus ensuring the maintenance of the status of prima donnas, but leaving things all continue to roll down the slope towards a deeper crevasse.
The facts of fire in recent days in Pozzallo are just the latest spot that I can think of an area that is unable to send a clear message: WE DO NOT GO HERE! The politics of legality, in our Sicily, should be the starting point for any administrative action through the transfer of resources and projects in mind for the redevelopment of our culture against lawlessness, starting from the very young, rooted in the hearts of our children, schools, parameters and values.
It 's time for a revolution of society, because until it grows naturally with the belief that everything is the result of "a favor", who bestows these favors will continue to be fertile ground where his grass grow. The game also applies to all areas of public life, where even a certificate of residence appears to be released thanks to a courtesy. My idea of \u200b\u200bpolitics, the party that I'm helping to give birth, must be able to say out loud DO NOT GO HERE!
I am proud of the work of our sections, because, in the midst of many difficulties, we managed to fill rooms left empty by the explosion of the center: an absurd project of mass destruction allowed the right to continue with greater strength than before, abuse of our land facilitating the destruction of the people of the left, squeezing the belly of the people, promising a lie, which would have filled it to him. He lost the sense of belonging healthy, proud and heroic in some ways, seeking solutions to the problems of acrobatic polls rather than their Italian counterparts. Being left today, does not mean "a communist" as we like to say to Berlusconi does not mean not always be against, like to understand how someone, the values \u200b\u200bof freedom, justice, peace and ecology are the backbone of a man of the left, which by definition rejects the war, the power play, cohabitation mafia, the policy unconditional interest and exploitation of the environment. This being the left is what belongs to me and I personally believe in the shame of not having to convey to people, because there is not a single moment of my life when I decided to use politics for personal, I never linked my name to the tricks of the building and continue to hope that the people, the real one, have my own will to change things.
The decision not to join in the PD, after self-destruction of the DS and give life to the Democratic Left movement with an ambitious plan to create a new party of which the Italian left is LEFT ECOLOGY AND FREEDOM ', it seemed, and I think still the only possible way for those who the way I see life, I am convinced that many would take our own decision if they had had the opportunity to choose to understand, to assimilate: instead immediately began the witch hunt, first voting of use to Berlusconi and the other major party against a poor attempt to attack the flags.
Luckily ideas can not be enclosed in a glass bottle and thrown into the sea without economic means, without television and newspapers, without sounding political office, the real left has hatched under the rubble, and today manages to put out a hand from the debris of the building crollatole him. Today, millions of women and men believe that the dream of building a new hope for all is possible, despite many difficulties and misunderstandings, but the heart beats. The true revolution has started from below, as always, bringing new lifeblood to old ideas, making their way between politicians and false prophets, and making possible the birth of LEFT ECOLOGY AND FREEDOM '. This Italian red heart is alive and present and the fight against the giants, like a modern David, proud of being a "leftist", waving the flag of freedom, peace, ecology but especially for real change in society, away from classical patterns of politics that have hitherto guided the minds of Italian politicians.
So I urge you to overcome fears, to dig inside of you to ask you a question: what needs to be SEL today? I have given an answer and share with you: a force capable of moving the stagnation of conscience, to act as a daily practice of building the future, through the affirmation of universal ideals that regardless of who represents us and bring choices at the center of everyone's interests. There is the inevitable in politics, because every action is determined by men and if indeed there was the intention of change for the better this would not need so many useless words but of concrete: jobs, rights, public health, safety, environment, economy, education, culture, science, have become the slogan for the campaign, but when these aspects of public life come into a classroom parliamentary become intricate mysteries that you can not be resolved unless the sharing of power. And 'where the party's new left must be able to say: DO NOT GO HERE!
So I am convinced, now more than ever, that the revolution of the people has the greatest power when in women and men who live the ideals of the ride above ideals are not to be ashamed, the same ideals are not to be afraid, the same ideals enshrined in this ancient word and ghettoized: LEFT.
And we must be able to carry all this out of our meetings, listening for the deep distress of the people of our province, on the basis of our ideas by building a future in law, business, development and freedom. SEL must be able to rule by choosing the language of the people, to undermine the rules of the palaces and a commitment to be a new party, non-conventional weapons against the politics of patronage, the supine attitude of the powerful.
The construction of a new left that now seems under way, inevitably involves our land, and the meetings that have taken place in recent months with the other political forces to prove it. But be careful not to repeat the usual mistakes: not only with the goal avalanche of votes that we must weave dry branches, is at stake the future of our province! SEL must be true to itself, its people, claiming the respect of ethics forgotten by many our politicians, the alchemy by which it is able to transform into gold hoards of stinking corpses and power there must enchant the center-left can not trasformasi in "anything goes just to the right beat."
