TOURISM YES OR NO? DEVELOPMENT!


Saturday afternoon During the City Council held open at the Palace "La Pira, the City Administration has presented tables of the preliminary study of a proposed redevelopment of the Raganzino. It seems unnecessary to reiterate the importance and urgency of an intervention that restores dignity to the west of the city, but the key question is: can we allow a total distortion of the places with the justification to determine the 'tourist flows, beds, economic interests ... "as stated by this Administration?
What should be the price that the community pozzallese have to pay for the economic interests of a few investors?
Raganzino need all that attention rejected in years of government distracted, too busy to look for solutions to a few "notable" that eventually gave the impression of a large tourism development can give welfare to all pozzallesi.

Pozzallo is not ready for this "Riminisation" and neither are pozzallesi, unhappy with a city that seems to them less every day. So that they are welcome
Hotels and other facilities, but are conceived outside the town, full support for the traders and owners of bars and restaurants but within the rules and the quiet life of all, in the end can not be expected to disrupt the lives of those people who always live in the city and that today are considered "sleepers of nuisance" because they claim they can sleep in their homes as the rest of pozzallesi. We must design and program a range of alternative development: fisheries and tourism, conventions with universities for internships and research on the sea, museums and historical representations, gastronomic tours, diving excursions, concerts, suburban area with appointments scheduling with the help of specialized agencies, development of local products through the establishment of a consortium, an international fair of the sea and its derivatives, sports tournaments, multi-ethnic initiatives to rediscover our "Mediterranean" and parking lots with shuttle service from outside ' urban area, in short, the list would be endless. Sulsenti demonstrates the ability to design a future of sustainable tourism and economic development, their commitment to reconsider the district Raganzino as to that part of the city livable and enjoyable by all without the constraints of private management, which inevitably has to calculate profit from its investments, and above all create those green spaces, places where children and adults can commit their free time playing sports, walking or relaxing in front of the sea without Pozzallo to pay the cost of uncontrolled privatization that, once again, fills the pockets of phantom entrepreneurs come from somewhere.
